Now I have arrived at your home, everything is strange and I don’t feel good.
Do not feel impatient if I don’t sleep in my new basket. Yesterday I slept in the dirt.
Do not be terrified if I gobble up my food. Yesterday I had to do it to survive.
Do not get angry if I pee on your floor. Yesterday it did not matter.
Do not be sad if I am afraid of your loving hand. Yesterday I did not have one.
Have patience with me, it’s your world but not yet mine.
If I trust you, I can give you the greatest gift I have to give. MY HEART.

Bobby was once somebody’s pet, but he doesn’t remember as it was so long ago. Discarded like a piece of rubbish when his humans moved house, he had to learn to fend for himself on the streets. They hadn’t even bothered to get him neutered.
Bobby had been straying for at least 4 years when he came to us at the end of 2024. He didn’t trust humans at all and was very defensive. He is around 9 years old.
With time and patience, we have started to see those defences melt away, uncovering the sweet boy he truly is, although he still retains some of his “grumpy old man” persona!
He has started to enjoy fusses, he engages with us much more and he has even made some kitty friends here at the meadows.
We would love to see Bobby find his forever home with people who will be understanding of everything he has been through.
