Keira & Mickey

Keira and Mickey are the cutest duo!! Mickey came into foster first, he was timid & didn’t trust humans at all. He came with some battle wounds; he is missing one of his toes, he lost a little corner of his tongue, was recovering from a bite (from a fox/dog) to his leg & has a little scar under his chin (although his fluff fully hides it now). He had a pretty rough start, over the year he has been in a foster home he has started to come out of his shell, he loves following his humans around – he is such a little shadow, he loves playing with his humans when they have his favourite toys out & doesn’t mind the odd stroke during meal times & occasionally outside of meal times on his terms. He has been known to bop when feeling scared, but these days its infrequent & he keeps his claws in so when it happens its paw only.

THEN…Keira got introduced, a lively extremely friendly, cheeky crazy kitten & she turned out to be everything that Mickey needed. They play together, hang out together, eat together & Mickey absolutely worships her. When she was spayed he sat close by at all times as her own personal bodyguard, he is completely smitten. Keira brings cuddles, no sense of personal space & all the attention she can get! She is happy hanging out with Mickey or humans, depending on if she wants to play or snooze, she is leading the way for Mickey to really work on his confidence around humans & in the short time Keira has been in her foster home Mickey already seems so much calmer & content 🙂

They both LOVE the sunshine, they currently have a catio & would love access to an outdoor area in their forever home if one was available.

Whoever takes these 2 cuties in will have a home filled with so much love & cheekiness, some love from arms length & some fully in your face!
