Lovely Lottie is an absolute star. She is so loving and will accept hugs from anyone anywhere!
Unfortunately, she has had a horrific start to life. She was a stray who was handed in at a local vets due to her having a deformed front left leg. When the vet investigated further they found fragments of metal embedded in her bone – probably the result of being shot by a pellet gun. The decision was made to amputate her leg as she was unable to use it effectively. Lottie has taken all this in her stride and was up and walking a few hours after her operation. She doesn’t allow her disability to hinder her in any shape or form. She can climb and jump as if she still has 4 legs and often uses her ‘situation’ to convince you that she needs more treats!
Lottie currently lives with 3 other cats but shows no interest in becoming best buddies with them – she is so laid back that the most they get from her is ‘a sniff of the bum!!’. She doesn’t show any aggression towards them so would be able to live with other cats, however she would also enjoy the attention of being an ‘only child’.
Lottie loves human attention and wants to give head bumps and purrs all day long.
