Mr grumpy Bertie bum is our longest Meadows resident as he has been here for over 3 years!
He does have a tendency to glare at people which maybe puts off potential adopters!
Bertie is an older gentleman who absolutely deserves to find a nice retirement home where he can laze the days away in the warmth.
He can be a bit of a grump, and may even give you his best hiss, but don’t let that put you off because underneath that bravado, this boy absolutely adores a full body massage and head scratches.
Bert would like a home with people who will understand that he has had a tough life and is still wary of people. He will probably never be a lap cat but he will be so grateful to have a loving home.
Bertie loves other cats so he would like a home with other friendly cats in it, or even better, you could take along one of his many buddies from the meadows!
It would make us all at SCRT so happy to see this boy in a home, he truly deserves it.
We really don’t want to see our Bert on the streets ever again, so would love it if you had a catio or cat proofed garden. A spacious indoor home would be fine too.
There must be someone out there willing to give Bertie a chance, he has waited so long. Fill in an application and come and meet him!
