Mushu is looking for a very special and specific home.
Mushu joined us a couple of years ago as a last resort as he was at risk of being PTS due to some quite severe behavioural problems. He had a history of attacking people and causing significant injuries!
He had been hit by a car when he was younger and this may have caused some damage to his brain which may have contributed to his issues.
But 99.9% of the time, Mushu has always been a friendly, playful, inquisitive cat. Every now and then he would “turn” but there were always enough warning signals. He has not shown any signs of “turning” for well over 6 months now and has really settled down.
We believe he is ready for a home but he does have some specific requirements!
He will need to be an only pet as the unpredictability of other animals can be overstimulating to him which can cause issues.
No children.
Someone who is very good at reading cat body language (bengal experience would be a bonus as he is a bengal cross)
A cat proofed garden or large catio as he loves being outdoors.
Someone who is willing to visit him at our centre in Albrighton several times before taking him home to build trust.
A quiet home is needed, he won’t cope well in a busy environment!
Mushu is such a wonderful cat who has been through a lot. He loves human company (he does prefer women). He does like to play a little rough which is just part of his cheeky personality. He is a highly intelligent boy who deserves a chance at a forever home with someone who understands him.
He really is a unique and marvelous cat and will be a wonderful companion for the right person. We just need to find them.
We have to state, Mush has caused nasty injuries in the past, so we will only home to the RIGHT person who is completely aware of this. It’s not ideal for him to live in care for the rest of his life, but if we do not find the perfect home, he has a lovely garden at the meadows and we will ensure he is very happy
