Do not feel impatient if I don’t sleep in my new basket. Yesterday I slept in the dirt.
Do not be terrified if I gobble up my food. Yesterday I had to do it to survive.
Do not get angry if I pee on your floor. Yesterday it did not matter.
Do not be sad if I am afraid of your loving hand. Yesterday I did not have one.
Have patience with me, it’s your world but not yet mine.

Rocky is a small cat with a big personality!
This handsome lad has been in rescue for over 2 years, probably because he has always been quite timid. However, since being given access to our protect a pet gardens, his confidence has soared. So we really feel the time is right for Rocky to find his forever home.
Whilst Rocky is still unsure about touch, he does allow a couple of his favourite volunteers to stroke him, so it will be something you can work towards, but you will have to be patient and go at his pace.
Rocky is always front of the queue at feed time, and he is straight at your feet if you have treats! He will let you know if meal time is late by meowing until his food appears.
Rocky loves to play, his favourite game is chasing string dangled from a stick.
Rocky would like to live in a spacious home (although we recommend starting him off in one room until he starts to feel settled), he would love outdoor access so a cat proofed garden or catio would be wonderful. Or a home which is well away from busy roads but he must be kept indoors for a minimum of 6 months.
He would like to live with other friendly cats and he would like his humans to be patient and understanding and also well trained in providing meals and yummy treats.
