Jasper was a stray, no owner found, but we believed he was dumped because he is neutered, friendly & has a faint collar line around his neck. He was being fed by a man who now can’t feed him anymore due to being terminally ill. He put a post on FB and a scanner went to trap him & scan him, and appealed to the public for somebody to help him. He was being threatened with poisoning & ‘being strung up’ by another man, so, I saw the post, and as I foster cats, I said I would look after him until she or I could find a rescue for him.

We have 5 cats of our own so sadly we can’t keep poor Jasper.
He had constant diarrhoea so I took him to the vets. I paid for tests for him. I de-flead & wormed him & had him chipped in case he got out & got lost, as he doesn’t know this area where we live.
Our cats are not happy he is here, and have started to spray around our home. My husband is not happy & my autistic daughter with sensory processing disorder is really unsettled and upset that the cats ard spraying on our things.
I have had Jasper now for about 7 weeks and thought he would have been in a rescue by now, but all the rescues are full, over full!
The situation here is becoming desperate, as my cats don’t want him here.
He is lovely, friendly, loving, placid, and is very handsome. He would make anybody a good pet. If we didn’t have male cats, and five cats in total, we could keep Jasper.
But when I took him out of danger the plan was never to keep him. I was just caring for him and helping him. He was never our cat.
After all he’s been through I really want him to find his forever home, so he can be loved & pampered for the rest of his years.

Jasper has diarrhoea which the vet suspects IBD. He is on steroids & dry grain free food.
There is a small chance that if it isn’t IBD, it could be cancer in the colon, but everything else has been ruled out with blood & poo sample tests. He has no cat diseases or parasites.
