Primrose, Petal, Posey & Dandelion

Looking for a patient home

Primrose and her kittens are timid cats looking for a special, understanding and patient home…

Now I have arrived at your home, everything is strange and I don’t feel good.
Do not feel impatient if I don’t sleep in my new basket. Yesterday I slept in the dirt.
Do not be terrified if I gobble up my food. Yesterday I had to do it to survive.
Do not get angry if I pee on your floor. Yesterday it did not matter.
Do not be sad if I am afraid of your loving hand. Yesterday I did not have one.
Have patience with me, it’s your world but not yet mine.
If I trust you, I can give you the greatest gift I have to give. MY HEART.
All I need is a bit of time to adjust.

Primrose (tabby) gave birth to her three kittens, Petal (tabby), Posey (short-haired black) and Dandelion (large, fluffy black), while living on the streets. Despite their difficult start in life, Primrose has been a wonderful mum and has cared for her babies beautifully.

Primrose has come a long way on her journey to trusting humans, although she still has some progress to make. She is beginning to form bonds with people she knows well and especially enjoys companionship at mealtimes.

Her kittens, Petal, Posey and Dandelion, are also a little shy with people. Petal is the most confident of the trio, followed by Posey, while Dandelion is the most reserved and prefers to observe from a distance.

In an ideal world, we would love to see this family remain together. However, we appreciate that this may not be possible, and we would be delighted for them to find homes in the following pairs:

Primrose and Petal (mother and daughter) enjoy rubbing heads together and curling up in the same bed for a cuddle.

Posey and Dandelion (brother and sister) are a closely bonded pair who enjoy quietly watching the world go by side by side.

If you feel you could offer one of these lovely pairs a patient and understanding home, we would love to hear from you.
Should they eventually have access to the outdoors, they must remain indoors for a minimum of six months to allow them time to settle. A secure cat-proofed garden or catio would be an ideal addition to their new home.

Could you be the person to give these special cats the second chance they deserve?
