Now I have arrived at your home, everything is strange and I don’t feel good.
Do not feel impatient if I don’t sleep in my new basket. Yesterday I slept in the dirt.
Do not be terrified if I gobble up my food. Yesterday I had to do it to survive.
Do not get angry if I pee on your floor. Yesterday it did not matter.
Do not be sad if I am afraid of your loving hand. Yesterday I did not have one.
Have patience with me, it’s your world but not yet mine.
If I trust you, I can give you the greatest gift I have to give. MY HEART.

Both Socks and Shadow were rescued from a Bed Factory where they were with lots of other kittens and cats of various ages. They were constantly running out of the way of vehicles moving within the area. They have been homed together since their rescue five weeks ago and are now eager to explore bigger environments.
Socks is a lovely inquisitive kitten, full of energy and character. Very protective of his sister Shadow, always ‘checking out’ things first for her to follow. Very playful and loves his food and treats.
They have become more confident and are cautious but not afraid of other cats. Socks mixes well, Shadow is more timid. Both can be handled well, no sign of aggression and both purr when being stroked. They are still cautious with human interaction so won’t run up for a fuss, but are happy to be picked up and fussed. They do not struggle to be put down.
