Ten-year-old Suzie has already used up one of her nine lives.
She arrived at our vets having multiple seizures, and for weeks we didn’t know if she was going to make it. It was an incredibly frightening time, but this little fighter refused to give up. Thankfully, after intensive care and lots of love, Suzie recovered. She hasn’t had a seizure for several months now, and it’s believed she had eaten something extremely toxic before she was rescued.
Suzie has plenty of character! She’s a wonderfully sassy lady who knows exactly what she likes. She enjoys fuss on her terms and, if she’s had enough, she’ll let you know with a gentle tap of her paw. Because of this, she’s looking for an adult-only home with no children. She’d also prefer no dogs, and she’s not a fan of sharing her home with other cats either. Suzie would love to be the centre of someone’s world.
She’s looking for an indoor-only home, where she can spend her days snoozing in a warm sunny spot, enjoying her favourite treats, and keeping her new human company. She eats a normal diet and asks for very little—just a safe home where she’s loved and understood.
Suzie would make an incredible companion for someone who appreciates a cat with a little sass, a lot of resilience, and an even bigger heart. After everything she’s been through, we desperately want her next chapter to be the one she deserves.
