Hi, I’m Oreo,
I’m 6 years old and came into rescue in April 2023 from the Birmingham area with Tasha and Marshmallow. I can be a little wary at first, but I’m very curious and once I feel safe, I’m often the first one to come and say hello.
I’m a timid but loving boy who really enjoys being talked to. A calm voice and gentle company help me feel secure, and with a bit of patience, my sweet nature really shines through. Treats help too! I love dreamies and chicken and when I’m comfortable with you, I’ll even lick Lick-e-Lix straight from your finger.
I enjoy quiet fun like sitting in cardboard boxes and I do like to play with fishing-rod type toys as long as playtime stays gentle. Too much excitement can scare me so I prefer a softer approach.
I’m looking for a patient, loving home where I can take things at my own pace. If you give me time, kindness and a calm environment, I’ll reward you with trust, quiet affection and a very loyal little presence. I would love to go to a home with Tasha, Marshmallow or a home that already has cat friendly cats.
