Freddie is a wonderful, friendly, gorgeous hunk of a feline.
He will be your best friend, snuggling up to you whenever he can and following you around to see what you are up to. He has ALOT of love to give!
He is a miracle boy who came back from the brink of death and is now in great health, all thing considered!
After many surgeries and tests he was diagnosed as a triaditis case – inflammation of the liver, pancreas and intestines. He also needed to have his spleen removed.
His condition is managed very well with a strict diet. He is also diabetic and needs injecting with insulin twice a day, this is very easy to do (you will be shown how) with a very small needle and Fred doesn’t mind at all.
Fred will remain under SCRT for life. Which means we will cover the costs of his medication and food, and will support you in caring for him.
You will need to be able to get him to Cavan vets in Bushbury for check ups.
Fred ideally needs to be an only pet due to his specific dietary needs, we cannot risk him accessing food he shouldn’t. But we would consider a home with other pets if you able to guarantee he wouldn’t be able to access other food (as this can make him very poorly).
Fred would be absolutely fine as an indoor cat. He has no interest in going outside!
It will make his dreams come true to have his very own home and human to pamper him.
