Do not feel impatient if I don’t sleep in my new basket. Yesterday I slept in the dirt.
Do not be terrified if I gobble up my food. Yesterday I had to do it to survive.
Do not get angry if I pee on your floor. Yesterday it did not matter.
Do not be sad if I am afraid of your loving hand. Yesterday I did not have one.

Treacle is one of the most handsome ginger boys ever! He has the stunning soft silky fur and beautiful green eyes. This beautiful lad came into care after being on the streets for a long time and was being fed by a kind family for a while before his rescue. It took Treacle a little while to trust at first but now he’s a total love bug. Lapping up all the chin rubs and head scratches and even letting some of our volunteers pick him up! He loves treats, dreamies being a particular favorite. Treacle does not seem bothered by other cats, he would be happy to be an only cat or share a home with other friendly cats. We expect Treacle to be nervous when he first arrives in his forever home, he will need someone who is willing to put the time and effort in to help him settle and trust. He would love safe outdoor access at some point (he will need to be kept indoors for a minimum of 6 months) or a catio/pet proof garden would be even better! This gorgeous ginger fuzzy boy would make the perfect companion for the perfect person/family if you think that’s you then please apply.
