Where do I start?
Ethel has been giving birth to litters of kittens for most of her life. We rescued her and her final litter (4 kittens) from a wet, cold shed 8 weeks ago. Ethel has been an outstanding mom to her babies, but a cruel, horrendous virus took 2 of the kittens lives at 6 weeks old. We lost Little Man and Little Fluff and our hearts shattered. The two surviving kittens (Cayden and Jude) were hospitalised as it was touch and go as to wether they would succumb to this horrific pneumonia. They are now fine. Ethel was poorly too, but a few days in hospital got her right and she is now in full health. Ethel has been through far too much in 3 years of her life, she’s an absolutely wonderful girl who just wants cuddles and love.
Ethel is okay with other cats, not keen on dogs.
Ethel will also be okay with calm children over 8 years old. Ethel does like her fresh air, so a home with a garden and well away from busy roads would be fantastic- she will need keeping in for the first 3 months to ensure she doesn’t get lost when she starts venturing out. Ethel loves her food, eats well, plays with her ball track and just wants someone to love her. She needs a forever home and a happy future to help her forget her past.
