Coco darling… where do we begin…
Coco has a calming and quiet energy overall. She loves to follow you and just watch what you are doing.
She also has another side where she absolutely loves to play with pretty much anything, she enjoys ‘hide and seek’ where we sharply look around a corner and then run off just waiting to hear her little paws … it’s very cute. Every night she carries her favourite toy up the stairs for a final play before bedtime, you can’t say no to that face!
She isn’t a huge fan of being picked up, she has to be in the right mood but once you know her, you will know when she does and doesn’t want it. As much as Coco loves to be around you, she also enjoys her own time. When it’s on her terms she enjoys rubbing her head up against you, purring and wanting some cuddles.
Coco came into our care after being found living in a shed. She has a tendency to get shut in our cupboards or rooms quite often as she follows you so quietly, you have no idea she is there! Because of this, we feel she would be much safer as an indoor cat or having access to a catio. She doesn’t appear to miss being outside and day dreaming out the window seems to make her very happy.
We fostered a dominate male cat whilst also fostering Coco and they did not get along, we believe Coco will be happiest on her own or with a kitten so she isn’t intimidated.
Coco is the most wonderful cat, she is so loving once she knows she can trust you. She isn’t shy but also isn’t too brave, she doesn’t run for the back of the sofa when we have people round, she likes to smell and suss people out.
An interesting fact about Coco is she’s a Polydactyl cat, meaning she has an extra toe on her front and hind feet. Fortunately it doesn’t carry any health issues, it only makes her even more cute having ‘thumbs’.
