Now I have arrived at your home, everything is strange and I don’t feel good.
Do not feel impatient if I don’t sleep in my new basket. Yesterday I slept in the dirt.
Do not be terrified if I gobble up my food. Yesterday I had to do it to survive.
Do not get angry if I pee on your floor. Yesterday it did not matter.
Do not be sad if I am afraid of your loving hand. Yesterday I did not have one.
Have patience with me, it’s your world but not yet mine.
If I trust you, I can give you the greatest gift I have to give. MY HEART.
All I need is a bit of time to adjust.
Marmalade and Joey are brothers that came in together from a farm colony. They were very nervous of people to start with.
Since being in a foster home they have come on really well but would now be better in their own home where they can settle properly.
They have been in contact with quite a few other cats and are very friendly and submissive towards them. They may benefit from a home with friendly cats that may bring them out of their shell even more.
Marmalade loves to play with dangly toys. He loves food and will rub around you whilst you feed him. He chirps at you when you go in the room.
Joey is a Prince. He lives his home comforts and likes to survey his surroundings from his house on the scratching post. He does hiss when you first enter the room, but he is not aggressive and is just reminding you that you are his slave and must do his bidding.
It will take them a while to settle in as they are nervous boys, but they are both very sweet and they adore each other so must be homed together. They are very good with a litter tray and other animals but have not encountered a dog as far as we know so slow introduction is a must.
