Do not feel impatient if I don’t sleep in my new basket. Yesterday I slept in the dirt.
Do not be terrified if I gobble up my food. Yesterday I had to do it to survive.
Do not get angry if I pee on your floor. Yesterday it did not matter.
Do not be sad if I am afraid of your loving hand. Yesterday I did not have one.
Have patience with me, it’s your world but not yet mine.

Im Jack, I have been at the rescue for a while as I am/can be temperamental, this is mostly now because I have learned I get treats to help bring me out of my shell so if I sit in my bed I get lots and lots of tasty goodies!! I have now put on a little weight since I arrived and am told that I may need a diet, although I’m not sure what one of them is, I might like it!!
I like to play with my toys and I love my cat tree, when I think no one is looking I like to sit up high and watch the world go by, but not for too long because I might miss a treat! I love the scratch tree as I like to scratch it and I have also been known to scratch my litter mat to bits too.
I have a lot of love to give and in general I am sweet natured, I am also told I have to most amazing whiskers out of all the cats here!
I need someone to be patient with me and help me settle in so I can adjust to being in a home in my own time, I think I would also like a friend to help me too. if I am the cat for you then please apply, I will need to be kept inside for a minimum of 6 months, please no busy roads for me I don’t like them so I would need a catio or a cat proof garden.
