Dusty & Pudding are timid cats and is looking for a special, understanding and patient home…
Now I have arrived at your home, everything is strange and I don’t feel good.
Do not feel impatient if I don’t sleep in my new basket. Yesterday I slept in the dirt.
Do not be terrified if I gobble up my food. Yesterday I had to do it to survive.
Do not get angry if I pee on your floor. Yesterday it did not matter.
Do not be sad if I am afraid of your loving hand. Yesterday I did not have one.
Have patience with me, it’s your world but not yet mine.
If I trust you, I can give you the greatest gift I have to give. MY HEART.
All I need is a bit of time to adjust.
A romance that blossomed in SCRT care! Dusty and Pudding were neighbours…. Who decided to move in together one day whilst the pens were being cleaned. Since then, they haven’t looked back! Both of these beauty’s had a rough life on the streets, but Dusty also had a nasty wound on his neck…(likely from a burst abscess from fighting) it took months to heal, plus surgery, but is now fully healed! He is however FIV positive.
Dusty is a really sweet boy who loves a cuddle. He craves attention and wants lots of treats and love.
Pudding didn’t actively seek out human attention until she moved in with Dusty. Dusty has helped her express herself so much, and she will now accept treats and the occasional stroke. Pudding still has a long way to go with trusting humans, but she may as well do that in her forever home, with her forever human!! Pudding and Dusty must go as a pair. Dusty CAN be temperamental- he doesn’t like sudden movements… so for this reason, children over the age of 10 years old only please. No dogs, and other laid back friendly cats may be okay. I’d be cautious with large male cats just incase Dusty got a bit funny with them.
Large indoor homes would be fine, or a home well away from busy roads.
So here we are – who fancies a Dusty and Pudding in their life?
Not the easiest pair- but my gosh they will be worth it!!!
