Mister

Gorgeous lad Mister is looking for his happy ever after, after living his life as a stray on the streets. He came into our care as a very nervous boy, he wasn’t a complete stranger to humans as he was being fed regularly by a lovely member of the public but he has never been used to human contact. He’s come along way and has made brilliant progress, he’s gone from a nervous wreck who didn’t even want to be looked at to a confident and chatty lad who loves his food and will happily lie out flat and relax. He’s even comfortable being around complete strangers now. He has a very sweet meow which we regularly hear when he wants more food. He loves to eat, he’s very food orientated and that’s how we’ve won his trust with lots of treats. He isn’t happy to be stroked yet as a hand coming out towards him is a little too intimidating but he will sit beside you without any worries. We’re still working with him daily with the hope we will eventually get some cuddles but we feel this is now something his new humans can do. He loves to play with his toys. A feather is his favourite, he rolls on his back with all legs in the air attacking it. It’s amazing to see him so happy and comfortable. He will need a calm home where he can feel safe with patient humans who are happy to work at his pace. He would love an outdoor space to explore in 3-6months, he loves to sit and look out the window so we’re sure he’s desperate to explore the outdoors again. Therefore no homes near to busy roads please. As being in a home will be a new experience for Mister we think one without any children would be best. He hasn’t been tested with other cats but he is used to being surrounded by them and has never once hissed at them. Instead he seems very intrigued so we’d like to think he’d get on well with another accepting cat who can show him how great life in a house with loving humans can be.
