Charles is a big big lad, he weighted 6.6kg when he last visited the vets and doesn’t really look like he’s lost any weight since, despite being on a “reduced treats” diet. He’s referred to as King Charles and he definitely lives up to his title. To put it bluntly he’s a big grumpy boy and doesn’t look like he’s planning on changing his ways just yet. He’s so so loveable, his sassy personality is what makes him so great. He’s been very spoilt since being with SCRT and loves to eat treats from your hands, once he’s done though he gives you a good tap with his paw as if to say “you’re done now, leave me be”. He’s got a lovely fluffy coat which we unfortunately haven’t managed to brush yet but he’s done a brilliant job at cleaning himself up and getting rid of the matts he had living as a stray. He does now have malt treats to help with hairballs though to save him getting blocked up. He’s one of those cats who’s happy doing his own thing. He spends the majority of his day sleeping but we have wondered if he actually likes to have a little play when nobody’s watching. His toys are always found scattered about the place but we’re yet to witness him actually playing, we like to think he does have a playful side though. He’s a gorgeous boy who really deserves a special home with a patient owner who can work with him at his own pace. It would be amazing if someone could crack him and turn him into a big cuddle monster but if not a warm bed and a full tummy is all this boy is asking for. Home checks and adoption fees apply
