When Annabelle first came to me, she was full of terror and fury and would try to scratch me at every opportunity. She was afraid of toys and didn’t understand how cushioned surfaces worked and freaked out at every movement. But in no time at all, she discovered the joys of affection and play and comfort. With a bit of love and patience – and a lot of Dreamies – she absolutely blossomed. She now avails of any opportiny for a good back scratch, explores the house with the curiosity of a kitten, loves a good walkabout with her crinkly balls. She gets on great with my own cats too.

Annabelle will initially be fearful of strangers, so it’s important that she is given time to learn to trust you. She feels intimidated if you tower over her or come on too strong, preferring a gentle  approach: soft voices and slow movements, and preferably let her make the first move. She is naturally curious so in time at all, she will reward you with the loudest purrs you’ve ever heard. She even rolls over for luxurious belly rubs!
