Chilli & Pepper are timid kittens looking for a special, understanding and patient home…
Now I have arrived at your home, everything is strange and I don’t feel good.
Do not feel impatient if I don’t sleep in my new basket. Yesterday I slept in Mthe dirt.
Do not be terrified if I gobble up my food. Yesterday I had to do it to survive.
Do not get angry if I pee on your floor. Yesterday it did not matter.
Do not be sad if I am afraid of your loving hand. Yesterday I did not have one.
Have patience with me, it’s your world but not yet mine.
If I trust you, I can give you the greatest gift I have to give. MY HEART.
All I need is a bit of time to adjust.
Chilli and Pepper were trapped by SCRT after being reported as stray kittens. They were healthy girls and came straight into a foster home.
They were timid and unsure of humans but after being mixed with 8 other kittens and a lot of handling by a 10 year old, they are much better.
Chilli loves to play and Pepper loves to eat. They will need their own place where they can go and hide until they settle. Just sitting in the same room with good food and a toy will quickly entice them out.
In their foster home they will sit with and even on their foster mum. Chilli doesn’t want to be touched just yet but Pepper has started to enjoy a stroke. They are not nasty in any way. No hissing or scratching at all in foster but they will need to settle in first.
Once they have settled they will charge around and play. They especially love to climb so a good scratching post with a bed platform would be a bonus.
