Pearl

Adopted 10/8/22

Pearl is a timid cat looking for a special, understanding and patient home…

Now I have arrived at your home, everything is strange and I don’t feel good.
Do not feel impatient if I don’t sleep in my new basket. Yesterday I slept in Mthe dirt.
Do not be terrified if I gobble up my food. Yesterday I had to do it to survive.
Do not get angry if I pee on your floor. Yesterday it did not matter.
Do not be sad if I am afraid of your loving hand. Yesterday I did not have one.
Have patience with me, it’s your world but not yet mine.
If I trust you, I can give you the greatest gift I have to give. MY HEART.
All I need is a bit of time to adjust.

Perfect Pearl deserves to be loved. Pearl lived a terrible life on the streets giving birth to litter after litter of kittens. Pearl never had chance to enjoy any of her life as she had to look after her kittens, find shelter, food and warmth for them on the streets of Birmingham.

Pearl has deserved better all her life… and now is her chance. Pearl doesn’t trust humans much, but to be honest, who can blame her? She doesn’t want you to be touching her… but we all know that when she is in her forever home, being spoilt rotten, and having someone spend heaps of time with her, bribing her with fresh chicken and treats…. We all think she will love some fuss and affection. For this reason, we want someone super committed to this stunning little girl. One that will take

Pearl at her own pace, and someone who will let her make her own decisions.

Pearl is looking for an indoor only home, she is in good healthy but has scarring on both her eyes from an old virus when she was on the streets. It doesn’t effect her at all, but she isn’t keen on sudden movements.

I am begging you, consider Pearl. If you have a calm home, with no children, no dogs and want to change her life…. Then please apply. You will be rewarded by her progress and no one deserves happiness more than this sweet little girl. Other friendly cats already in the home will be fine as long as they are laid back.
