Maggie & Alvin are a pair of gorgeous bonded kittens who are looking for their forever home together. They were born on the streets and have sadly never experienced the warmth and comfort of a loving house. Both babies are quite nervous of humans and may take some time to settle into their new home so we are looking for a calm and relaxing house where they can take all the time they need to explore their new surroundings. Alvin (black & white boy) is the more confident of the pair, he will happily sit on your lap and have fuss but won’t approach you to ask for attention just yet. This is something that will come with time once he’s learnt to trust his new humans. Before being rescued by us he had previously had a virus which has caused his extra eyelid to be permanently stuck half way across his one eye. This does affect his vision (in the one eye) but causes him no issues at all. For him to maintain some vision in his poorly eye he requires eye drops 3-4 times per day for the foreseeable future to keep it well lubricated. Maggie (tortoiseshell girl) can be quite a vocal little baby, she is more confident when it comes to exploring new things but will still be very shy with new humans. You can easily approach her to give her gentle strokes but she is yet to approach us first. Once she’s comfortable with her new home and humans she will hopefully soon learn that fuss and love is great. As Alvin only has good vision in his one eye we would like them both to go to an indoor home preferably with an enclosed garden or catio. Patient children over the age of 10 will be fine.
