Ivy & Astrid are timid cats looking for a special, understanding and patient home…
Now I have arrived at your home, everything is strange and I don’t feel good.
Do not feel impatient if I don’t sleep in my new basket. Yesterday I slept in the dirt.
Do not be terrified if I gobble up my food. Yesterday I had to do it to survive.
Do not get angry if I pee on your floor. Yesterday it did not matter.
Do not be sad if I am afraid of your loving hand. Yesterday I did not have one.
Have patience with me, it’s your world but not yet mine.
If I trust you, I can give you the greatest gift I have to give. MY HEART.
All I need is a bit of time to adjust.

Hi, I’m Ivy 🌿
I started life straying around a café in Bilston with lots of other cats. I was just 4 months old, already neutered, and about to be released back outside… until a kind café owner made sure I found somewhere safe. That safe place turned out to be the Meadows, and wow, haven’t I been lucky!
I’m a shy, sweet girl who’s still learning to trust, but I do enjoy gentle cuddles once I feel safe. Treats help too, especially Lick-e-Lix (they are my weakness 😋). With patience and kindness, my quiet little personality really starts to shine.
And then there’s Astrid 💫
Astrid is around 7 months old and was found straying in a volunteer’s garden. Like me, she found the big world a little scary at first but together, we’ve figured out how to be brave. We’re now inseparable cuddle buddies, finding comfort in each other while we continue to learn that humans and indoor life aren’t so frightening after all.
We’ve only ever known the outdoors, so everything is still quite new to us — but with time, patience, and lots of love, we promise to reward you with gentle affection and quiet companionship.
🏡 If you have a calm home, a kind heart, and plenty of patience, we would absolutely love to find our forever home together. A cat-proofed garden or catio is a must or we have to be kept inside for at least a year before we adventure out due to our timid nature.
With love and hopeful paws,
Ivy & Astrid 🐾💖
