Momma Nancy-Drew (approx 2yo) and her very handsome son Marshall (approx 1yo) were rescued from the streets of Birmingham. Nancy had continued to bring Marshall from a very young age to a kind lady who fed them day and night, along with many strays…. he never left her side and is her safety blanket and protector. Sadly, they had to cross a busy road to feed, so would then run off for shelter and safety – we knew it would only be a matter of time before tragedy struck as sadly Nancy’s sister was killed on that same road.
Since coming into care only a few weeks ago, both have adapted very well to a warm bed and a full tummy (especially if it involves chicken or treats!). They both still cuddle up to sleep together and wash each other – even though Marshall is bigger than his mum now!
Marshall loves to play and enjoys a stroke. Nancy is a little more reserved at the moment and likes her comfy bed – but comes out to have a little mooch and play when no one is looking.
They will make a lovely addition to any home.
