Banjo is the last kitten in his litter looking for his forever home. Banjo was  born & lived outdoors until he came into rescue at approximately 5 months old.  The siblings came into a foster pen & were initially very scared. They huddled together in an igloo bed. But even from the outset they were not at all aggressive, not so much as a hiss or scratch. Over the last few weeks Banjo & his siblings have grown in confidence & started to show an interest in playing with toys.

Banjo is happy to be fussed if he is in his bed or you are down on the floor with him, as you can see in the video. He would really benefit now from being in a home environment where  he can continue to come out of his shell. Away from his siblings he should get braver & turn to his humans for more attention.

He will need a quiet adult home or one with quiet teenage children. However his new owners will have to be prepared to be patient & allow him to settle in at his own pace & not expect too much from him until he feels safe & is ready. He will need to be set up with everything he needs in a room where he will have a lot of company and he can watch everything going on from them safety of an igloo type bed until he is ready to join in.  Extra care must be taken with any windows & doors so that he is unable to get out  & get lost. When he is ready though he will need access to a secure garden which he can explore.

He would be fine to live with another friendly cat but can be homed on his own to the right home, where there will be someone around a lot of the time to help him settle in.

If you would like to offer Banjo a home please fill in the adoption enquiry form at the bottom of this page.
