Rosie

Shy but sweet girl

Rosie is a timid cat looking for a special, understanding and patient home…

Now I have arrived at your home, everything is strange and I don’t feel good.
Do not feel impatient if I don’t sleep in my new basket. Yesterday I slept in the dirt.
Do not be terrified if I gobble up my food. Yesterday I had to do it to survive.
Do not get angry if I pee on your floor. Yesterday it did not matter.
Do not be sad if I am afraid of your loving hand. Yesterday I did not have one.
Have patience with me, it’s your world but not yet mine.
If I trust you, I can give you the greatest gift I have to give. MY HEART.
All I need is a bit of time to adjust.

Shy but sweet Rosie is ready to find her forever home.

Coming from a life on the streets, it has taken Rosie a while to settle in to rescue life. She is still a shy girl but there is not a nasty bone in her body.

The kitties she shares a pen with (Robin, Talon, Noella) have really helped her to feel more confident and she would like to be homed with one of them.

It will definitely take you a while to see her true personality as she remains a timid girl, but she loves to play and snuggle up with her friends.

She doesn’t mind humans but remains wary, therefore you must be willing to be patient and spend lots of time earning her trust with treats and play.

Her early life consisted of trying to fend for herself (and who knows how many litters of kittens) so she has never had the chance to truly relax and enjoy life.

She needs a safe and loving home where she can truly relax and let go of the trauma of her previous life.

Do you have the patience and love to give this wonderful girl? Please apply!
