Penelope is a very sweet and shy little girl who’s looking for a calm and patient home where she can adjust to her new house and humans in her own time. She has likely only ever lived outdoors so will understandably be very scared of all the new strange things inside a house. Penelope hasn’t learnt to fully trust humans yet, she’s still quite nervous of people but is the most gentle baby and wouldn’t hurt a fly. When she feels stressed she simply sits there and hisses but can still be stroked without moving. So we really think there’s a lot of potential there. Once Penelope feels comfortable in her new home her owners will be able to watch her personality grow as she comes out of her shell and starts enjoying life. It’s a very rewarding experience being able to win the trust of a nervous cat who has no reason to trust humans at all. She’ll be eternally grateful to anybody who can provide her with the love she deserves. She’s a beautiful little lady with big eyes which she uses to pull on your heart strings and is very loveable. We think a home with no children under the age of 15 would be best as a calm home will be better for settling Penelope in. She might like to explore the outdoors in the future as she has always been an outdoor cat, and therefore a home with no busy roads only please, or a cat proofed garden or catio would be fine.
